I hope this email finds you all well. Please note that, unfortunately, I hurt my back, and am not going to be able to serve the Liturgy this morning, so it is being canceled.

Vespers Resuming
Please see the recent note from Fr. Gregory concerning Saturday evening Vespers:
Please note that, as announced last Sunday after the Divine Liturgy, we will be resuming our Great Vespers Services at 6pm on Saturday evenings, starting tomorrow evening [26 September]. I greatly look forward to praying with you at these beautiful Services, so essential for being more fully prepared for the celebration of the Divine Liturgy on Sunday mornings.

Parish Feast Day – Repose of the Holy Apostle and Evangelist St. John the Theologian
Today, 26 September, is the Commemoration of St. John the Theologian and the patronal feast day of our parish.
Apostle beloved of Christ our God, / hasten to deliver a defenceless people. / He Who allowed thee to recline on His breast / receives thee bowing in prayer, O John the Theologian. / Implore Him to dispel heathen persistance / and to grant us peace and mercy.
Divine Liturgy – 20 September 2020
As a reminder, we will celebrate the Divine Liturgy tomorrow, 20 September 2020, at 9:00am. The Liturgy will be held outside on the church property. We hope to see you!
In keeping with parish and Maryland state guidelines, we will continue to enact social distancing measures during the COVID-19 pandemic.
