Inquirers’ Classes at Four Evangelists Orthodox Church

Glory to Jesus Christ!

In the past few months, our parish has been very blessed with visitors and inquirers with an interest in learning more about the Orthodox faith.

To that end, Fr. Gregory will be holding a series of inquirers’ classes on the following Wednesdays for anyone interested:

• 22 January 2025 at 7pm
• 05 February 2025 at 7pm
• 19 February 2025 at 7pm

All classes will be at the church.

No prerequisites required! Bring a favorite Bible, if you’d like. We also have Bibles available.

Men’s Fellowship Night

Christ is Baptized! In the Jordan!

This coming Sunday, 12 January 2025 (Afterfeast of the Theophany of Our Lord), will be a potluck luncheon coffee hour. If you have a favorite or special dish you would like to share, please do. Please note, this is not required! All are welcome to the potluck luncheon.

Please note also that following the Divine Liturgy, we will pray the 40 day Panakhyda (memorial service) for +Mary Kietzman, who departed this life on 04 December 2024. Please continue to keep +Mary, along with her family and friends, in your prayers.

A few announcements for Sunday, 5 January 2025, Forefeast of the Theophany of Jesus Christ:

During the Liturgy there will be a special Children’s Sermon.

Following the Liturgy we will serve the Great Blessing of the Water for the Feast of Theophany. Everyone is encouraged to bring a container to take some blessed water for home use.

In conclusion, we will pray the 40 day Panikhyda for +Kyle Czumak, followed up by a luncheon for the parish provided by the Czumak family.
