SOCKtober October!
Glory to Jesus Christ!
Dear Parish Family,
Four Evangelists is joining Harford County Government, Harford County Public Library, and We Cancerve in the annual “SOCKtober” collection drive during the month of October. As we get into colder weather new socks, hats, mittens, and gloves of all sizes will be distributed to local individuals and families experiencing homelessness or on the brink of homelessness, and to local veteran’s organizations.
A collection box for these items will be located in the back hall at Four Evangelists. Sunday, October 27 is the last day for this drive.
Thank you for your generosity!
Commemoration of St. John the Holy Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian (Patronal Feast Day)
Today, September 26, is the Repose of the Holy Apostle and Evangelist St. John the Theologian. Also, since there is no day commemorating the Four Holy Evangelists collectively, this is the patronal feast day of our parish. A blessed feast to all!
Parish Patronal Feast Day
All are welcome on Sunday, September 22 at 10AM, as we will celebrate the patronal feast day of our parish with our bishop, Metropolitan Antony. Our parish feast day is September 26th (Commemoration of the Apostle and Evangelist St. John the Theologian) but will be celebrated this year on the 22nd, the Sunday prior. A parish fellowship meal will follow the Divine Liturgy. Please join us on this festive occasion!
