Ministries of Our Church

Four Evangelists currently participates in several ministries to the outside community, both locally and worldwide, as well as to our own parish community. See below for ministry descriptions and the church calendar for dates and times.

Children’s Church School is held from 8:50-9:30am before the Divine Liturgy. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to learn the riches of our Orthodox faith and what it means to live as a Christian in today’s world. Past lesson series have included An Overview of the Old Testament and Feasts of Our Church, among others. We also have an adult study that is held during our coffee hour after the Liturgy. At the present time, due to construction at our new property, the Adult class is out of session.

Our parish partners with the Welcome One Emergency Shelter in Belcamp, Maryland to provide prepared meals and meal service to the shelter community. Our schedule is currently on a monthly basis. For inquiries about this ministry, please use our contact page for further details.

Our parish partners with International Orthodox Christian Charities to provide health and school kits for those in need. The IOCC School Kits provides children in numerous countries with basic school supplies to help meet their educational needs. IOCC Health Kits provide materials such as soap, band-aids, paper, pencils, and diapers to ongoing development programs and disaster rehabilitation efforts.
