Celebrating Theophany at Four Evangelists Orthodox Church

January 9, 2023 at 9:00 am

When Thou, O Lord, wast baptized in the Jordan / worship of the Trinity wast made manifest / for the voice of the Father bore witness to Thee / calling Thee His beloved Son / And the Spirit in the form of a dove / confirmed the truth of His word / O Christ our God, Who hath appeared and enlightened the world, / glory to Thee!

Troparion for the Feast of Theophany

Christ is Baptized! In the Jordan!

This past week, the faithful of Four Evangelists Orthodox Church celebrated the Feast of the Theophany of Our Lord with the service of Vespers on Thursday, 05 January, and the Divine Liturgy with the Blessing of the Waters on Sunday, 08 January. Pictures from Sunday can be seen below.

As a reminder, please bring a small water container if you would like to take home some blessed water for personal use.

Also, as is custom on or after Theophany, Fr. Gregory will be performing house blessings. Please see Fr. Gregory for dates and times if you would like your home blessed.
